Structuring Public Employee Compensation Programs for the New Economy The League welcomes Bob Brownstein, Policy Director at Working Partnerships USA. Working Partnerships is a public policy institute that builds partnerships with community, labor and faith groups to improve lives of working families in the Silicon Valley. Bob will be discussing public workers pay and compensation in economically challenged times. Lunch with League is a monthly event where community leaders meet with the League to discuss current events. Lunch choices include walnut and chicken salad, grilled sliced sirloin sandwich, eggplant parmesan, tuna melt and linguini picatta with chicken. The cost is $15, payable at the door. The League of Women Voters San Jose/Santa Clara presents Pros and Cons, live voter education events that provide information to help you become informed on State Propositions. These presentations will give you an unbiased look at the pros and cons of measures in the November election. This event is hosted by AARP.
